Skunk Audio OPEN STUDIO

Something not working?

Most issues have a quick answer below. If yours isn't here, email us — a real person reads it.

There is no sound.

Check the master volume in the mixer and that the track is not muted. On Android, also check that another app is not holding exclusive control of the audio output — closing background media apps usually fixes it. If you are using Bluetooth headphones, try wired or the phone speaker to rule out a routing problem.

Recording sounds delayed or echoes.

That is monitoring latency. Use wired headphones rather than Bluetooth — Bluetooth adds 100–200ms that no app can remove. If you are monitoring through the phone speaker, the microphone will pick up the playback; headphones solve this.

Where do my exports go?

Exports are written to your device’s Music folder, in a Skunk Audio subfolder. Any file manager will find them, and they appear in other apps that read local audio.

Can I use my own samples?

Yes. Import from the pads screen and the app reads WAV, MP3, FLAC and OGG. Long files can be chopped on the waveform editor and assigned across pads.

Does the browser studio save my work?

Not yet — it is a free demo of the engine and resets when you reload. The Android app has full project saving.

The app crashed.

The app keeps local diagnostic logs on your device. Include what you were doing when it happened, your phone model and Android version in a support email, and that is usually enough to track it down.
