Terms of Use
LAST UPDATED 7 August 2026
These terms cover the Skunk Audio Android application, this website, and the browser studio. Using any of them means you accept them.
Your music is yours
We claim no ownership over anything you make with Skunk Audio. Recordings, patterns, projects and exported audio belong to you, and you are free to release them commercially without crediting us and without paying us anything.
The sounds included with the app
The kits and samples bundled with the app are licensed to you for use in your own music, including commercial releases. You may not redistribute them as samples — that is, you may not include them in a sample pack, library or preset collection of your own, whether sold or given away.
Samples you import
You are responsible for having the right to use any audio you import. The app does not check licences and cannot tell whether a file you loaded is cleared for release.
The browser studio
The browser studio is provided free and as-is. It is a demonstration of the engine, not a product with a service level. It may change or be withdrawn at any time, and it does not save your work.
No warranty
Skunk Audio is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost work, lost recordings or lost income arising from using it.
Practically: export anything you care about. Phones lose data, apps have bugs, and an exported WAV in your own storage is the only real backup.
Acceptable use
Don't decompile or redistribute the app, don't resell it, and don't use it to produce material that is illegal where you live.
Changes
These terms may be updated. The date at the top reflects the last change.
